  1. Note on compiling:  this package is currently configured
  2. to be built with GCC.  You may have to reconfigure it
  3. with the "configure" utility if you don't have GCC installed.

  5. Please read README.orig and INSTALL for further information.

  7. [Skunkware 5.0 Note - The Gdb source is being distributed as a gzip'd
  8. tar file. To extract, issue the command :
  9.     $ gzcat /usr/skunk/src/Tools/gdb-4.12/gdb-4.12.tar.gz | tar xf -
  10. after having cd'd into a writeable empty directory of your choice. 
  11. The uncompressed extracted source occupies nearly 16 Mb. ]
